Getting Resilience Right

The ICNZ 2025 conference will examined the impact of climate change and building for an appropriate level of resilience to protect lives and property and reduce risk. They also explored the regulatory environment and how to ensure the industry is strong and sustainable.

This event looked at how technology can help respond to major events and also delved into the critical issues of building industry trust and reputation and how the industry is getting insurance right for its customers.

2WALKandCYCLE 2024 was held at Tākina Convention Centre in Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington. This year’s conference theme ‘People power: the path to low carbon transport’ brought together passionate delegates from around the country to discuss the challenges ahead of transforming our transport network.

The Insurance Council of New Zealand Te Kāhui Inihua o Aotearoa’s (ICNZ) conference returned as an in-person event on Tuesday 8 November 2022 at the Cordis Hotel, Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland for the first time since 2019. It’s the insurance sector’s premier event to hear from leading international and national speakers. Our theme this year was appropriately wellbeing, focusing on what that means for customers and the sector more broadly in the context of today’s challenges and what the future holds for insurance.
